A Hawaiian monk seal has attacked an unsuspecting swimmer on Cayman Beach in Honolulu. The seal was attacked twice before the woman was rescued. A seal named Rocky has just given birth and is trying to protect her babies. Authorities posted a warning saying, “Female Hawaiian monk seals are aggressive and bite,” but the swimmer got too close to the pup.

She was taken to safety and treated for her injuries.
