A mother who Dachshund-loving said she spent £ 23,000 on her 12 little sausage dogs.

Mum of one, Claire Membury, 47, bought her first Miniature Dachshund four years ago and became hooked by their individual and unique personalities.

Shrewsbury’s son-in-law, 51, moved Lee’s bedroom downstairs and shared an 8-foot bed with the puppies.

“I got my first dog four years ago,” Claire said.
