On January 17, Betty White would have turned 100 years old, and although she has not yet seen her birthday,many are celebrating her in a way that she would have loved. Shelters have adopted adoptive dogs, and fans, some of whom have called them Betty, have urged others on social media to take part in the Betty White Challenge and adopt or donate to the local zoo in memory of the beloved Golden Girl.
