A video showing the strength and determination of a hippopotamus from Botswana, South Africa has gone viral.

He attacked three adult lions as they crossed the river, and onlookers filmed the entire incident on camera.

The video has already become an internet hit, with over 5 million views on YouTube alone, and the lion and hippo scenes have left many animal lovers speechless.

The hippo became aggressive when he saw three adult lions around him. He ran to the river and ran into a lion right in the water – two of them swam across the river, and the third lion ran to the other side.
