Student Creates 3D Printed Lunch Tray For Children With Special Needs

Adalyn Hamlin, a 15-year-old high school student at Pop Pap High School in Hendersonville, Tennessee, designed a lunch tray for students with special needs. She received support from the school’s 3D printing club, who produced the original design for less than $5. Adalyn won a “Universal STEM” award in a national competition and She developed a free print plan for students who might need a little help stabilizing their lunch shelves.
