For 19 years, the only life this cow knew was life in chains – blind and alone. There were no people around her who could provide him with safety, health and happiness. Then the loving staff at Uncle Neil’s House swooped in and rescued the blind cow. At first, this timid animal was unsure of his new surroundings – how could she know that she was truly safe, living with people she could not trust?
With time and patience, this beautiful cow named Helen finally found a loving home. After everything blind cow Helen has been through, her people decide to give her a better life. It’s all about finding unique ways to interact with the world of rescued blind cows.

Because Helen is blind, this cow especially enjoys other senses such as the sound of bells, music, and the feel of grass and trees. But the most amazing thing is that Helen loves to express her love for her people through hugs.
“We wanted to show her that we are here to protect and love her,” one of the rescuers said. “We didn’t know it was possible to love someone so much… Helen is the most beautiful and loving soul we have ever met, and she finally taught us how to lead with love.”
