Ed Bledsoe recalls a terrifying phone call with his 5-year-old great-grandson. Little James Roberts and his sister, 4-year-old Emily were at home with Beldsoe’s wife, Melody in Northern California where a fast-moving wildfire is scorching neighborhoods. Bledsoe says he left the house to go to a nearby store, but on his way home he found the roads blocked off.
