American Idol runner-up Willie Spence has passed away at the age of 23. Authorities say Spence died in a crash on an Interstate highway in Tennessee.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the singer was returning home to Georgia when his car crashed into a tractor parked on the side of the road. American Idol tweeted,”We are devastated. He had a real talent that lit up every room he walked into and will be sorely missed.”
