Unfortunately, some people return pets to shelters for many reasons, such as seniority, but I have never heard of an owner returning his dog to a shelter because he wants to sleep on the bed. This is exactly what happened to Twinkle, a Chihuahua mix who returned to the shelter after being adopted for 4 months!

Before Twinkle was adopted, she needed help on the streets of Miami. She lost most of her hair due to severe dental problems, breast cancer and a terrible skin infection. Weighing just 3.5 pounds, Twinkle was treated for health issues and was adopted by the couple.

Unfortunately, they sent him back to the shelter while he slept on the bed. The poor dog is now looking for a permanent home with owners who will put him to bed. I hope he finds his eternal home soon, where he deserves to spend his golden years. Watch the video below.
