Nature surprises us every day with new strange interactions between wild animals, and this story is no exception. Wildlife photographer Graham Dyer managed to capture some bizarre shots of a pride of lions in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve in Botswana.

The lions were hunting and suddenly stumbled upon a wounded fox! The lionesses and their cubs were going to disturb him, but one lioness decided to become a fox mother and ordered the other lionesses not to disturb her!

However, some lions did not like this decision, and one of them tried to attack the fox, as it was an easy prey! But the lioness did not budge and was ready to fight the lion!

Fortunately, the fox was in good hands and after a while everything is all right with him. He then said goodbye to the lion as he was able to stand up on his own! Mother Nature! Watch the video below.
