A baby takin rejected by his parents has a new nanny looking out for him in the form of an adorable Australian shepherd named Blakely.

Dale the takin arrived at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden needing the comfort of a companion. The takin is a species that lives in the mountains of China and the eastern Himalayas. Dale was soon introduced to the zoo’s resident nanny – Blakely.

Blakely patiently takes care of the orphaned animals and becomes the babies’ companion, socializer and trainer. With Blakely, Dale goes on walks and play together. It’s so sweet!
