Shortly before the first snowfall, one of my brothers is happy. Ashton Stevens, a 31-year-old health consultant, and her husband overheard Sloane, 2, comforting her 8-month-old Isla as she prepared to spend a day in the snow at her South Missouri home. Isla had just begun to crawl and was unable to move because of her winter clothes. Luckily, her brother was there and assured him that he would soon have a good time in the snow.
