Everyone has their favorite dog breed, but Great Dane owners know just how incredible their massive dogs really are. They are fantastically tenderhearted and wonderful with kids, but they’re also fiercely protective and loyal of their loved ones.

These magnificent dogs are afraid of the silliest things such as tiny dogs, do the craziest things like bark furiously at the threatening dog in the mirror that’s their own reflection, and make huge messes when they want to. These beautiful creatures are known for table surfing, too, which is when they swipe food off the table or counter with ease because they’re so tall.

Great Danes love their families so much. These big dogs will happily fetch a ball a million times, go on leisurely walks and veg out on the couch watching TV, albeit hogging the entire couch.

Facebook user JG Clark walked in on her husband Chris exercising. He was executing lunges and had a new workout partner.

Their awesome blue Great Dane Luca Baloo decided to participate in the physical fitness session. Except the husband and wife team weren’t sure if 1.5-year-old Luca was genuinely interested in exercising or just wanted to goof around with his human.

At first, Luca wants dad’s attention and gets in the way. But when Dad ignores him and continues with his lunges, the long-limbed Luca decides to try it for himself.

The slippery wooden floor isn’t helping Luca at all, but he gives it a shot. The result is hysterical!
