The glass octopus is a large octopus from the genus Vitreledonella, Amphitretidae, with very unique characteristics.

Its body is transparent and its glass octopus shape always inspires marine life lovers.

One such octopus was photographed last week on a flooded coral reef in Winslow, near the Republic of Kiribati in the central Pacific Ocean.

The glass octopus can grow up to 45 centimeters (18 inches) in tentacles, but this is very rare and hardly ever found in the ocean. Recently, a group of scientists discovered such an octopus and posted a stunning video about this unusual animal.

See how beautiful the glass octopus is – one of the rarest octopuses in the world. Will he be able to catch you in a powerful way?
