Father and son spent £ 30,000 to convert the helicopter into a Staycation

Owners Stuart and Reese Dungy in Newport, Wales turned an old helicopter into a resort after seeing it on eBay.

Stewart, 72, father and son, and Reese, 30, bought Sir Galahad’s helicopter in 2015 for £ 13,000 and have since spent £ 17,000 on repairs.

Westland Wessex helicopters first launched in the Falkland Islands and are now based at Windmill Campersite in Newport.
