These breeders never thought they would get used to hugging a new foal.
Stacy Rolf, 58, owns an R&R ranch in Wilwood, Missouri and the home of a young foal named Teddy Bear.
Teddy was born prematurely and needed the care of farmers, which made him dependent on human relationships.
Fortunately, Teddy’s mother and other horses at the ranch showed Teddy how to behave like a horse and taught him traditional rituals.
