A woman armed with a gun robbed a bank branch in the Lebanese capital, leaving about $13,000 in cash and withdrawing it from her bank account.

The woman told local news channel Al Jadeed TV that the gun was a toy and that she needed the money to pay for her sister’s cancer treatment.
