Ty Burningham of Davis County, Utah, spreads happiness wherever he goes.
The 25-year-old has special needs and can often be seen riding his scooter around the area. He also loves to interact with everyone he meets. Neighbors say he’s a pleasure to be around!
Among his many fans are local teens Maddie Weger and Hunter Garrett, both recent Davis High School graduates. Along with his former classmates, they can’t get enough of Ty’s friendship!
“He’s very friendly to everyone,” Maddie told KSL. “My mom met him one day at Bowman’s and I think she talked to him for about 30 minutes.”
“He has such a personality that you can’t help but smile when you see him.” Hunter added. “He lights up the room wherever he is.”
That’s why they joined 10 of their classmates to make Ty’s 25th birthday in July the best ever. They noticed that his scooter was starting to wear out, so they shelled out $10 for a brand new electric scooter!

Ty answer? “Oh my God!”
He couldn’t wait to try it and ran up and down the street with a smile on his face!
Seeing him bring so much joy was a real gift to his friends, who said it was the least they could do after T brought them so much joy.
“He’s not that big, but Ty, we love him,” explained Raf Thomas, one of the teenagers.

Could they be more thoughtful? No wonder she always smiles like that with his friends! Enjoy your new ride, Ty! You certainly deserve it for brightening so many people’s day.
