Have you ever wondered what the consequences are for a smaller aircraft if a bird strikes the plane?
It was this kind of drama that Robert Weber, the pilot of the Saratoga N9087V aircraft, witnessed back in 2014.
As he was flying toward Page Field near Fort Myers, Florida, the bird crashed into the glass.
The collision was so intense that the windshield completely shattered and the cockpit was badly damaged. The entire drama was captured by a GoPro camera mounted inside the aircraft.
Robert Weber had to make an emergency landing, describing the whole scene as something he never wants to relive. Look at the crash witnessed high in the air!
