If you bring something unique to a show like “The Voice,” you’re going to catch attention right away. Yes, “The Voice” is based on someone’s singing voice, but that doesn’t mean that bringing something unique to the table won’t boost your chances of getting a judge to turn their chair for you.

Down below is a video of “The Voice France,” and auditioning with a twist is Gabrielle Laberge. What’s the twist? Gabriella is auditioning with not only her voice but with her violin, too! While most people would begin their audition by singing, this young woman starts out by playing the violin.

The piano starts off and right away she starts playing the song “The Scientist” by Coldplay. She catches the attention of the judges Forent Pagny, Mika, Zazie and Garou Lors right away. After some playing, she starts to sing. Her voice is high and her tone sweet, and it makes the judges smile almost instantly.

At around 40 seconds in, Gabriella is still on the first verse, and two judges hit their buttons. Another ten seconds pass and a third judge pushes his button! A smile forms on the girl’s face as she realizes that she’s made it to the next round.
